On-Campus Recruiting: How Do I Sign Up?

For Harvard College and GSAS students and alumni ONLY: (See Eligibility Requirements)

Harvard College and GSAS students and alumni must register for On-Campus Recruiting *each academic year*. If you registered last year (2008-2009), yes, you do need to sign up again. If you registered during the fall semester (fall 2009), no, you do not need to register again for the spring term.

There are TWO ways for eligible students to sign up for OCR. Students only need to complete ONE of the following.

You will be unable to apply to OCR jobs and internships until you have completed one of the following steps to sign-up for the On-Campus Recruiting Program.

1) JUNIORS and SOPHOMORES: Attend an Orientation! The first deadline for internship On-Campus Recruiting is not until Wednesday, January 20th. Orientations will begin for underclassmen in late October.

  • Monday, November 30th, 4-5pm @ Science Center

2) ALL HARVARD COLLEGE & GSAS STUDENTS: Complete the Online Tutorial and Quiz:

• The Online Tutorial is available for those students who were not able to attend an Orientation.
  • The tutorial is a 12 minute overview of the Job Search and On-Campus Recruiting (OCR) processes.
  • The tutorial *DOES NOT CURRENTLY HAVE SOUND* so you can read silently through the tutorial slides at the library or any public space.
  • You must actively click the next button when you are ready to go to the next slide.
  • We also recommend that you stop by OCS during regular business hours to pick up a copy of the 2009-2010 Guide to Your Job Search
• Students must also *PASS* the Online Quiz to gain access to the system.
  • The quiz will be available beginning on Monday, September 14th.
  • A passing grade will be 80% or better. Please take the time to read and respond to the quiz carefully.
  • Activation will take approximately 1 business day after you have passed the online quiz.

For Harvard College Students Who Are Abroad or On Leave of Absence:

Complete the Online Tutorial and Quiz - Option #3 above (See Eligibility Requirements)

For Harvard College and GSAS Alumni:
