Fellowship Resources

The Harvard College Guide to Grants (12th edition) and its Harvard Supplement comprise essential resources for college fellowship applicants. The guide contains information on over 275 awards, and the supplement contains information on awards that are either exclusive to Harvard students or involve a process which allows Harvard students to participate in outside competitions. Copies of the Guide are available in section B of the OCS Reading Room, in College and House libraries and for purchase at the OCS Reception Desk. The Harvard Supplement is now available only online. You will need your PIN to access this site.

The 2007-2008 Fellowships Calendar, which lists deadlines for OCS Fellowships Office-administered competitions, is available in the Fellowships Office as well as online.

The Fellowships section of the first floor OCS Reading Room (section B) contains binders with feedback and end-of-the-year reports written by fellowship recipient winners from years past. The section also contains a plethora of up-to-date resources for grant seekers.

The House Fellowships Adviser(s) (HFA) at each House is an invaluable resource in the fellowships process and applicants or prospective applicants are encouraged to be in touch with their HFA's throughout the process. House offices can provide HFA names, emails and telephone numbers.

Visit the Harvard Funding Sources Database for International Experience. Find money for study, work, travel and other pursuits abroad.

Internet Resources for Postbaccalaureate Study in the UK is a one-page handout which provides links and brief descriptions of several important UK websites.

Fellowship information meetings are held throughout the year. See the 2007-2008 Fellowships Calendar for a complete and updated schedule.
