OCS offers career and graduate school resources, events and workshops, and individual career counseling to Harvard Extension School (HES) degree candidates and alumni. Due to specific funding regulations arranged through Harvard College, OCS cannot offer HES candidates or alumni fellowship or premedical advising. Visit the Harvard Extension School Career and Academic Resource Center for career services only available to HES students and alumni.
To make the most of OCS career resources, we recommend that you (1) setup up a Crimson Careers account and (2) join the OCS-DCE listserv. Through Crimson Careers, you can search for hundreds of jobs/internships, practice interview techniques online via Interview Stream, and schedule phone, Skype, or in-person career counseling appointments with Linda Spencer, Assistant Director, OCS. As a member of the listserv, you receive bi-weekly reminders about University-wide career events, so you’ll never miss an important employment opportunity.

Drop-in or Call-in Hours
Fifteen minute first-come-first-serve slots are available to all currently registered Extension School students to ask questions about career options, resumes, cover letters, job search strategies, and interviewing skills. Hours are Mondays, 1:00-4:00pm (last appointment is at 3:45pm), September 10 to May 6. No registration is necessary.
