Undergraduate Drop-in Advising
OCS offers ten-minute undergraduate drop-in advising sessions from 1:00-4:00pm, Monday–Friday during the academic year. Stop by to talk with an adviser and/or have your resume or cover letter reviewed.
Individual Appointments
Harvard College Undergraduates - Individual appointments are available. Juniors, Sophomores, and Freshmen must attend a drop-in advising session (see above for times) in order to get access to the appointment calendar.
Extension School students and alumni, and GSAS students may schedule individual 30-minute appointments through Crimson Careers. (See our guide to scheduling an appointment.)
Alumni of Harvard College and GSAS should call 617-495-2595, x 0 or stop by the reception desk at 54 Dunster Street to schedule an appointment.
Pre-Medical and Health Careers Advising 30-Minute Appointments
All undergraduates and alumni seeking an appointment for advice about premed or health professions plans are eligible for in-person 30-minute individual appointments via Crimson Careers.
Please follow these class- and alumni-specific steps to activate your Crimson Careers advising calendar access:
- Freshmen: Call the OCS Reception Desk at 617-495-2595, or stop by in person at 54 Dunster Street, and our reception staff will be happy to help you with this. Be sure to mention that you are premed or considering premed.
- Sophomores and juniors: If you used Crimson Careers to see a Premed counselor last year, you already have access to the advising calendar. Sophomores and juniors who have not yet used Crimson Careers need to contact the OCS Reception Desk at 617-495-2595, or stop by in person at 54 Dunster Street, to have your advising calendar access activated.
- Seniors: Your Crimson Careers calendar access is already activated. Please log in at the Crimson Careers student portal to schedule your appointment.
- Alumni: You will need to re-register for Crimson Careers to establish an alumni account using your post.harvard email address (you can set up a post.harvard account on the Harvard Alumni Association home page). Once you have a post.harvard account, please contact the OCS Reception Desk at 617-495-2595, or stop by in person at 54 Dunster Street, to have your advising calendar access activated.
Once you are registered with Crimson Careers, please log in via the Crimson Careers login page to make an appointment.
