We aim to educate the Harvard community about health care policy and to stimulate thinking among our outside readership about the pressing health care questions facing the nation and the world. The Harvard Health Policy Society (HHPS) is an organization of Harvard undergraduates whose main purpose is to encourage discussion of health policy issues on the Harvard campus. The HHPR is supported by the University-wide Interfaculty Initiative in Health Policy and is advised by a Board of Advisors comprised of professors in the fields of Medicine, Economics and Government.

Harvard Hippocratic Society
The Harvard Hippocratic Society is an undergraduate student organization dedicated to broadening the perspectives of those with an interest in health careers by uniting students and professionals in addressing issues and concerns in scientific, socio-political, economic, legal, and ethical arenas related to health. Our events and publications provide multi-disciplinary forums, as well as opportunities for camaraderie and exploration, through which our organization hopes to play an essential role in the training of future leaders in research, industry, medicine, and public policy.

Harvard Society of Black Scientists and Engineers
The Harvard Society of Black Scientists and Engineers (HSBSE) is a student-run organization for undergraduates interested in science and engineering. Aware of the scarcity of minority scientists and engineers, both at Harvard and at large, HSBSE aims to address the issues that have led to this under-representation. Our group caters to aspiring African-American scientists and engineers within the Harvard community by providing our members with academic support and professional networks, however membership is open to all Harvard undergraduates.

Harvard Friends of the American Red Cross

The Harvard Friends of the Red Cross exists to provide Harvard students with the opportunity to learn about the public service functions provided by the Red Cross and to become directly involved in these efforts. In addition, the organization promotes disaster preparedness and assistance in a general sense, and may take an active role in supporting other disaster relief as circumstances and member interest dictate.

Harvard Radcliffe Cancer Society

We work closely with University Health Services to help make modifications to better meet the needs of each student and the community.

College Diabetes Network
The Harvard Diabetes Network connects students interested in and affected by diabetes. HDN was founded in January, 2004 by six students at Harvard College. Our purpose is to connect college and graduate school students who have diabetes to share resources, information and support; to organize diabetes-related service and advocacy projects; to educate the community about diabetes and related developments in science, technology, and policy; and to work to improve health-care and nutrition options for campus diabetics.

Women in Science at Harvard Radcliffe
Women in Science at Harvard-Radcliffe, WISHR, founded in 1989, is a multi-faceted organization devoted to fostering a sense of community and solidarity among undergraduate women engaged in science at Harvard College. WISHR is the largest organization on campus that seeks to address the political, social and academic concerns of undergraduate women in the sciences. Towards this goal, WISHR sponsors academic, career, and public service programs, creates mentoring networks with graduate and professional level women, and serves as a multi-disciplinary resource for those pursuing the sciences. WISHR not only provides a support network and resource base, but also fosters discussion on women's issues and provides inspiration and encouragement for those pursuing science-related careers.

Project Health
Project HEALTH works to ensure that every child grows up free from the obstacles imposed by poor health, and addresses challenges faced by low-income families through innovative hospital-based advocacy programs and community-based afterschool programs. By uniting the creative energy of undergraduates, the expert knowledge of health and legal professionals, and the first-hand experiences of families, Project HEALTH works to interrupt the well-established link between poverty and poor health.
