Employer eRecruiting Quick Start Guide
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Your eRecuiting logon will not be activated until the week of your student application deadline. Until that time, you will remain "blocked" from the system. If you need to make changes to your posting or update contact information, please contact the Recruiting Office directly by emailing
ocs_recruiting@harvard.edu.
Getting Started - Logging In:
eRecruiting requires that employers create an account with Experience before being able to access the eRecruiting system. If you do not already have an account with Experience, please go to
http://www.erecruitingnetwork.com to complete the simple, online registration.
You will need to create your own username and password for your new Experience Account. From this central account, you will be able to “link” to any of the schools that use the eRecruiting platform to manage their recruiting programs, including Harvard.
Returning employers will automatically be linked to their Harvard College and GSAS account, while new employers must take additional steps to link their accounts to Harvard.
New employers will receive an email from the Recruiting Office just prior to their student application deadline. When you receive the "Invite to Link" email, simply follow the link contained within to establish a link to Harvard.
Downloading Applications & Making Candidate Selections:
- Go to your Jobs section and select the numeric link in the Applications column.
- Use the Print All Applications link for easy access to all of the submitted resumes and application materials.
- Once you are ready to make your decisions, select the students you wish to accept by placing a checkmark to the left of their name(s). Use the choose an action menu to accept your chosen candidates. Click the submit button when you are ready to confirm your acceptances.
- An automatic email will go out to the applicants informing them of your decision. You can also add a custom message to this email when you confirm your decision.
- Repeat the process for any students you wish to select as alternates or to decline*. These students will also be notified by automatic email of your decision.
*PLEASE NOTE: It is an important courtesy to notify any students who you do not wish to interview when making your selections. This will allow them to pursue opportunities with other organizations who may be a better match for their skills.
