Reservation Request Procedure for
Harvard Undergraduate, MA/MS, and PhD
On-Campus Recruiting
We are pleased to continue our online request procedure for fall and spring 2009-2010 On-Campus Recruiting (OCR) Dates. This year, to sign up for OCR, employers must carefully complete the following important steps. PLEASE NOTE that employers must agree to all 2009-2010 Fees and Policies.

EMPLOYER ON-CAMPUS RECRUITING (OCR) REQUEST
- Register as an Employer on our new NACELink
Symplicity platform - Crimson Careers. Select the "Registration Only" tab and
complete the simple form requesting basic organization and contact information.
- Select the "On-Campus Recruiting" checkbox to indicate that you will be requesting an OCR Schedule. We will approve your registration within 2 business days, and you will then be able to complete to following steps.
- Returning employers must complete the online Harvard Hiring Survey.
- Submit OCR Schedule Request(s). Schedule Requests are open for *BOTH* fall and spring semester:
- Login to Crimson Careers at https://harvard-csm.symplicity.com/employers/.
- Click on "Create a New OCR Schedule Request” from your Homepage
under “Shortcuts.”
- Fill in each of the required fields, noting the following:
- Recruiting Session: 2009-2010 Fall (full-time only) or 2009-2010
Spring (full-time or summer internship) - *If you would like to schedule
OCR for both Fall and Spring, you will need to submit two separate
OCR Schedule Requests*
- OCR Model: Preselect to Alternate (typical prescreen model),
Preselect to Alternate to Open (if you would like any open interview
slots to be made available to all applicants 2 days prior to your
interview date), or Open (first-come first serve model)
- Please indicate "first available" if you are interested in the earliest
possible date. Due to demand, we most often cannot give employers
their initial requested schedule.
- Notes: Indicate the job title(s) of the position(s) for which you will be
recruiting that semester and/or any unique instructions about your
interview schedule.
- Your credit card information will be required at this point
(MC/Visa/AmEx), but you will not be charged until both your OCR
Schedule Requests and OCR Postings have been approved.
- Please *DO NOT* post a job or internship at this time. Once we process your OCR
Schedule Request, you will be prompted via email to post your OCR job(s)/internship(s).
RESERVATION REQUEST CONFIRMATION
- The Harvard Recruiting Office will then personally call employers on a first-come first-served basis to complete reservations for fall and/or spring.
- Any requests for Employer Information/Networking Sessions will also be
processed over the phone at this time.
JOB/INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTIONS
- Once we process your OCR
Schedule Request, you will be prompted via email to post your OCR
job(s)/internship(s).
EMPLOYER INFORMATION/NETWORKING SESSIONS – VENUES
After confirming a date and time for your Employer Information/Networking Session with the Recruiting Office, you are responsible for contacting area venues to reserve the proper size space and refreshments for your Information Session. Space details can be found at www.ocs.fas.harvard.edu/employers/session.htm.
CAREER FORUM – FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 11, 2009
